Legislator Andres Tours ADJ Machining, Highlights Local Role in Aerospace Industry
by Niagara County Center for Economic DevelopmentNORTH TONAWANDA, NY — Niagara County Legislator and Economic Development Committee Chair Rich Andres recently toured ADJ Machining, a North Tonawanda-based manufacturer located on Industrial Drive, alongside Niagara County Center for Economic Development Commissioner Andrea L. Klyczek and staff.
During the visit, Andres met with company owners Yaroslav and Andrew Grinchishin to discuss the company’s continued growth and success in the advanced manufacturing sector. Through the Niagara County Production Grant Program, ADJ Machining was able to acquire a state-of-the-art CNC machine, further expanding its capabilities and positioning the company for continued success.
The Production Grant Program was funded through federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) dollars allocated in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and was designed to support local manufacturers as they recovered and adapted to new economic challenges. The program offered a matching grant of up to $50,000 for equipment purchases, helping companies invest in modern technology, improve operational efficiency, and address evolving workforce needs as they emerged from the pandemic.
ADJ Machining has produced precision components for the aerospace industry, including work connected to major private spaceflight companies such as Blue Origin and SpaceX.
“This is a great example of how targeted economic development programs can support local businesses, strengthen our manufacturing base, and position Niagara County as a hub for innovation,” said Legislator Andres. “To see a company right here in North Tonawanda contributing to cutting-edge aerospace projects is truly remarkable.”
ADJ Machining’s success reflects the strength of Niagara County’s manufacturing sector and its growing role in high-tech industries.
