The staff of the Niagara County Center for Economic Development mourns the loss of William "Big Bill' Hilts Sr., who passed just a week shy of his 91st birthday. Bill was an extraordinary ambassador for Niagara County through his involvement in numerous outdoor and sportsmen organizations. Through his decades of dedication to outdoor advocacy, Bill was instrumental in making Niagara County a renowned destination for fishing and sportsmen across North America. Bill's love of the outdoors was something he shared with countless others including his friends, family and colleagues. We keep Bill's family and friends in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
